Action Construction Equipment

Action Construction Equipment started supplying Hydraulic Mobile Cranes and Tower Cranes to DBL in 2015. The cranes are used for some of DBL's milestone projects. DBL looks forward to a long and productive partnership with ACE. DBL owns 102+ fleet and equipment supplied by them.

Tata Motors

DBL has been associated with Tata Motors since 2011 and is a Gold Category buyer today. Tata Motors supplies fleet and equipment which is used for crushers for mining projects, aggregates movement, heavy machine movement, diesel tanker, service van, spare parts movement, staff bus, and ambulance. DBL owns 776+ fleet and equipment supplied by Tata Motors. It is also has the largest fleet of Prima Tippers in India.

Scania

Founded in 1891 in Sweden, today Scania is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of heavy trucks and buses as well as industrial and marine engines. In India, Scania has been present since 2007 with LARSEN & Toubro Ltd. as a strategic partner. Scania India offers high end pullers, on-road haulage trucks, off-highway trucks and buses. DBL owns 61+ premium and heavy duty mining trucks from Scania. They have also deployed a core technical team at the Singrenni project site to provide high quality services parts and in-depth technical know-how.

Volvo

Volvo Trucks is a global truck manufacturer based in Gothenburg, Sweden, owned by AB Volvo. In 2016, it was the world’s second largest manufacturer of heavy-duty trucks. DBL's partnership with Volvo CE started in 2010 and with Volvo Trucks started in 2016. With 200+ Volvo Trucks in its fleet, DBL is one of Volvo's key customers in India. Volvo Trucks' strong fleet and reliable aftermarket services help DBL execute mining projects in an efficient and effective manner. With a fleet of 210+ machines, DBL is the largest customer of EC210’s from Volvo CE in India. DBL owns 568+ fleet and equipment supplied by them.

Sandvik

A partnership that started in 2009 with the supply and commissioning of the first 200tph 3-stage Sandvik Crushing Plant for DBL’s Nagpur-Jabalpur highway, has grown from strength to strength over the last 8 years. Both DBL and Sandvik have evolved from just being buyer and supplier to developing trust and togetherness that has become the hallmark of this association. Sandvik has supplied Fixed & Track Mounted Crushers to DBL. DBL owns 46 fleet and equipment supplied by them.

Manitowoc

Manitowoc provides innovative, advanced and comprehensive lifting solutions with products that have long set the standard for excellence worldwide. DBL purchased 2 units of the Manitowoc 220 MT Grove All Terrain Crane Model GMK5220. The crane has megatrak independent suspension, all wheel steer, electronic crane operating system, load moment indicator, boom alignment, telescoping, twin-lock double boom pinning, and hydraulic cab. DBL owns 6 equipment supplied by them.

Caterpillar

Caterpillar Inc. is an American corporation which designs, develops, engineers, manufactures, markets and sells machinery, engines, financial products and insurance to customers via a worldwide dealer network. Caterpillar has partnered with DBL and contributed significantly towards DBL’s growth. DBL became the first customer in India to operate the complete range of Caterpillar machines buying over 1238 CAT machines which includes 191+ CAT 120H/120K/120K2 Motor Graders, 588+ CAT 320D/320D2 Excavators,389+ Hindustan 2021 Wheel Loaders and 169+CAT 424B Backhoe Loaders. DBL is humbled to receive award for being the 'Single Largest Customer of Caterpillar GCI' in 2014 for construction equipment and '1000 CAT Equipment' award in 2018.

Wirtgen

Wirtgen Group is an international operating German company in the construction industry. The company’s core business is the development and production of machinery for road construction and maintenance. The partnership between DBL and Wirtgen started in 2009 when DBL became the first customer in India to operate the complete range of Wirtgen Group’s machines. DBL is the largest customer of the Wirtgen Group in India and is also amongst the top 10 customers globally. They own the maximum number of machines from the Road Technology division of the Wirtgen Group in India as well as the world’s largest fleet of Wirtgen Concrete Slipform Pavers. Wirtgen also supplies Soil Stabilizers, Soil Compactors, and Mini Rollers. DBL owns 499 equipment supplied by Wirtgen.

Bauer

BAUER Equipment India Pvt. Ltd (BEI) is a 100% subsidiary of BAUER Maschinen GmbH, which itself is one of the three main business verticals of the BAUER Group; other two being Bauer Construction & Bauer Resources. BAUER Maschinen is the leading construction & machinery manufacturing concern based in Schrobenhausen, Germany. They produce specialist foundation equipment such as rotary drilling rigs, trench cutters, drilling accessories, foundation cranes, deep vibrators, diesel powered and hydraulic hammers, desanders and deep drilling rigs.
DBL purchased one unit of Bauer BG26 VL- Kelly Specialized Drilling Rig Upgrade I Version Kelly bar BK300/419/3/42 (for 42 m drilling depth) for use on the Zuari Bridge project

Ammann Apollo

Ammann Apollo’s partnership with DBL commenced in 2006 with an order for a Drum Mix Plant and Sensor Paver. The relationship has grown many fold over the years. DBL now owns the entire range of products of Apollo and is one of the first customers for Ammann Ecobatch Plant in India. DBL is one of Apollo's top 10 customers in India and are a proud point of reference for them. DBL readily encourages new launches; be it the Made-in-India 9-meter Paver or the use of Ecobatch of Amman in an active project. DBL owns 207+ fleet and equipment supplied by them.

Mait

MAIT S.p.A, Italy has been a preferred supplier for Hydraulic Piling Rigs for DBL since 2012. MAIT is a market leader for Foundation Equipment in India and MAIT HR Series Rigs have been successfully deployed for drilling of piles for structures in various road projects executed by DBL in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab and Goa. Repeat orders were placed by DBL in 2016 considering the performance of the equipment for more than 4 years. DBL has benefited given the equipment's optimum performance and its low operating costs. MAIT Rigs have low downtime because of fast response and restoration thanks to its qualified service personnel and off the shelf availability of spare parts at the MAIT INDIA warehouse. DBL owns 6 equipment supplied by them.

Caterpillar has partnered with DBL and contributed significantly towards DBL’s growth. Metso

Metso is a Finnish industrial machinery company focusing on providing technology and services for mining, aggregates, and oil and gas, recycling, pulp and paper and other process industries. DBL purchased its first Metso Crusher in 2007. Since then, Metso has been providing crushing and screening equipment to DBL under Life-Cycle Services contract. DBL has acquired the complete range of equipment comprising of Mobile Crushers, Fixed Crushers, Modular Plant and Dry Sand Classifiers. DBL is honored to be appreciated as an 'Esteemed Customer of Metso India' for purchasing the NW Series Portable Plants. DBL owns 89+ equipment supplied by Metso.

Schwing Stetter

Founded in the 1930's in Germany, Schwing Stetter is a pioneering manufacturer of concrete construction equipment. The partnership between Schwing Stetter and DBL started in 2006 and now DBL is the largest customer of Schwing Stetter India. DBL became the first customer in India to operate the complete range of Schwing Stetter India machinery. Schwing Stetter supplies Chilling Plants, Ready Mix Concrete Plants, Concrete Boom Pumps, and Concrete Line Pumps. DBL owns 543+ fleet and equipment supplied by them.

Ashok Leyland

Ashok Leyland is an Indian automobile manufacturing company headquartered in Chennai, India. It is owned by the Hinduja Group. They are the 2nd largest commercial vehicle manufacturer in India. Ashok Leyland has been providing innovative and intelligent products according to DBL's specifications since 2007. Having supplied 2000+ vehicles to DBL, Ashok Leyland is a strategic partner in the company's growth journey. Ashok Leyland has supplied Transit Mixers, Trailers, Trucks, Dumpers, Bitumen Tankers, and Suko Cranes to DBL. The company is also the single largest Ashok Leyland tipper fleet owner in India. DBL owns 3221+ fleet and equipment supplied by Ashok Leyland.

Casagrande

Casagrande S.p.A was established in 1963 with its production facility in Fontanafredda, Italy to manufacture machines and provide solutions for geotechnical engineering Industry and overcome hard challenges. Casagrande is one of the leading manufacturers worldwide for the production of wide range foundation equipment. Casagrande and DBL partnership started in 2017, when Casagrande supplied one B200xp and one B175xp Piling Rigs. The B200xp is in use at DBL's eminent Zuari bridge project. Its advance technical features such as Smart Power Management and Load Sensing technology will overcome challenging site conditions to execute a pile foundation job with ease. The B175xp Piling Rig is being used on another eminent site, the Vijayawada - Machilipatnam road EPC project. DBL owns 3 fleet and equipment supplied by them.

DBL has partnered with IIT KGP for innovation services. At IIT KGP a 2-km stretch of road in undergoing multiple tests to derive a formula for enhanced road construction. Learnings from these experiments will be applied across DBL projects.

Infinite Civil Solutions has been associated with DBL since 2004. They provide complete engineering solutions to DBL, including detailed site investigation, survey works, detailed design, cost optimization in designs and on-schedule project design delivery. BKT

BKT is a leading tyre manufacturer in India within the Construction, Agricultural and Earth moving vehicles segment. DBL and BKT commenced their partnership in 2006. DBL is honored to receive an award for "Single Largest Customer of BKT OTR tires in India in 2014-15".

HINCOL

HINCOL may not have been formed in the new millennium, but is a shining example of unlocking of value and untapped potential being put to best use. HINCOL has been supplying Emulsion and Polymer Modified Bitumen to DBL since 2007. Emulsion is used as an adhesive for road materials. Polymer Modified Bitumen is a special kind of bitumen used in select projects. They also provide on-site testing of materials to ensure adherence to global and IS codes. HINCOL's partnership with HPCL also enables DBL to leverage a connected system.

Total Oil India

Operational in India since 1993, Total Oil today has multiple business interests including Lubricants, LPG, Bitumen, Special Fluids, Additives, etc. and employs over 550 employees. DBL and Total Oil's partnership commenced in 2014. Total Oil has been supplying Emulsion and Polymer Modified Bitumen to DBL since 2014. Emulsion is used as an adhesive for road materials. Polymer Modified Bitumen is a special kind of bitumen used in select projects. They also provide on-site testing of materials to ensure adherence to global and IS codes.

Shree Cement is an Indian cement manufacturer. Founded in Rajasthan in 1979, the company is now headquartered in Kolkata. Shree Cement is one of the biggest cement makers in Northern India. DBL and Shree Cement have been partnering since 2011 for cement supply in North and East India. Fosroc

Fosroc has been supplying chemicals for roads and structures to DBL since 2007. Fosroc customizes every recipe it supplies to DBL according to a number of contextual parameters. BASF has been supplying chemicals for roads and structures to DBL since 2013. BASF has helped DBL increase the strength of its structures by bonding the cement together with high quality admixture. Every recipe BASF supplies to DBL is first customizes in the BASF labs keeping in mind a number of contextual parameters. The Halfen-Moment Group of companies started its business in Malaysia, supplying mechanical couplers to construction sites as a cost effective alternative for conventional splicing. They supply mechanical couplers for DBL's prestigious project, the Zuari Cable Stay Bridge.

SAIL is one of the largest state-owned steel making company in India and one of the top steel makers in world with an annual turnover of ₹43,337 crore. DBL has been procuring SAIL's TMT Bars since 2010. SAIL supplies TMT bars that have been pre-approved by NHAI, MORTH and other major government bodies. Clarification in Public Interest

DBL Recruitment Process

  • It has been brought to our attention that certain unscrupulous elements are sending out false emails purporting to be from Dilip Buildcon Limited (“DBL”). The emails ask the recipient to appear for a face-to-face interview for a job opening with DBL and to deposit a certain amount as a refundable interview security in a designated bank account. The emails are falsely stated to be from officials of the HR Department of DBL.
  • DBL has not sent out any such emails. Please note that DBL, as a policy, does not collect any money as a pre-employment requirement. DBL and its affiliate companies bear no responsibility for amounts being deposited / withdrawn therefrom in response to such emails:
  • These communications may carry the ID or domain name of DBL (or a deceptively similar name) to make it look authentic. DBL is taking appropriate steps to tackle the issue. As a vigilant jobseeker, please look out for the following pointers to identify the fraudulent emails:
  • DBL does not ask for any money from the candidate at any stage of the recruitment process
  • A fraudulent email may mention the bank account number of an individual or the account details would be given upon calling up on the number mentioned in the fraudulent mail. In any case the bank account would not be in the name of “Dilip Buildcon Limited.”

To protect passers-by from hazards on roads and highways, DBL undertakes stringent safety measures. 

Barricades erected on either side of the carriageway closed to traffic are designed to resist violation and are painted in monochrome stripes. Red lanterns or warning lights are mounted on the barricades at night and are lit through the night.

Where deviations in traffic are expected, the new channel is clearly highlighted with pavement markings or painted drums. At night, the passage is delineated with lanterns or other suitable light source.

One-way traffic operation is established whenever traffic passes through a carriageway inadequate for two-lane traffic. This is done with the help of temporary traffic signals or flagmen positioned on the carriageway. For regulation of traffic, the flagmen are equipped with red and green flags and lanterns/ lights.

On both sides, suitable regulatory/warning signs as approved by the engineer are installed for the guidance of road users. On each approach, at least two signs are put up, one close to the point where transition of carriageway begins and the other 120m away. The signs are of approved design and of reflective type, as directed by the engineer.

A free Health Check Up Camp for all Dilipbuildcon employees , their families and nearby villagers were organized in 31st December 2020 at DBL Site Camp was organized in Sanjeevan Multispecialty Hospital & Research Institute . 

District, Maharashtra. Dr. Nijamudeen Ansari, M.D. Civil Surgeon of Hospital arrived at the camp at 11:00 PM. Patients discussed various issue of health with the doctors. Free Physical examination along with free Blood Sugar, Blood Pressure, CBC, HBSAG, THIRODE TEST, SICKLE TEST, TB SPUTUM TEST, HIV/AIDS.

Geo Green is an initiative taken by DBL for environmental sustainability and to protect the soil from either side of under construction roads from eroding. The road construction process displaces a lot of soil and loosens earth, impacting the quality of land in the surroundings. To prevent this from happening, DBL plants trees and grows grass on dividers, beautifying the roads in the process. 

DBL constantly conducts fire safety training in villages around project areas. Often these events are facilitated by local police and government departments. Some examples are below:

Project: Kawardha – Simga
Awareness of Fire Safety imparted to students of Government Middle School, Bemitra, District, Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Road Safety Week celebrated with District Police Department.

Project: Maholia – Bahagora
Awareness of traffic rules imparted to students of Kasturba Gandhi Girls School, Dhalumghar, District East Sindhbhum, Jharkhand

Project: Chas – Ramgarh
Awareness of traffic rules imparted to students of Government Higher Secondary School Peterbar, District Bokaro, Jharkhand Project: Jabalpur – Mandla Description: Awareness of traffic rules imparted to students of Government Middle School Bichiya, District Mandla

DBL celebrated Swachhta Pakhwada successfully across all the sites of DBL with full zeal and enthusiasm from 1st January to 15th January

During the Pakhwada different activities undertaken are as follows: 

  • DBL volunteers educate slum dwellers about the necessity of self-hygiene, community hygiene, cleanliness and preventive measures against about the dengue & malaria
  • Safai Abhiyan at nearby commercial area and markets, roads etc.
  • Safai Abhiyan in the school premises and class rooms.
  • Seminar to sensitize the Students regarding environmental issues.
  • Sensitize people of the locality about cleanliness of public places.
  • Meetings/lectures on related themes
  • Workshops on related themes.
  • Cleaning of public wells, ponds and rivers of the locality.
  • Awareness classes on Water conservation and recharging measures
  • Tree plantation
  • Educating the Waste Management practices like- separate bins for degradable and biodegradable wastes.
  • Carry out campaign against plastic and leaf burning and their proper disposal
  • Conduct of quizzes, elocution, painting, essay competitions etc.

A free Health Check Up Camp for all Dilip Buildcon employees, their families and nearby villagers were organized in 05.07.2018 at DBL Site Camp was organized in association with Thumbakuppam Govt. Hospital, Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh. 

A team of 4 members from Hospital including one MBBS, DPM (Psychiatrist), arrived at the camp at 11:30 PM. He discussed various issue of health with the doctors. During this camp free Physical Health Checkup along with Malaria examination was conducted. The team also rendered awareness regarding HIV and AIDS.

DBL reiterates it’s commitment towards environmental sustainability. As a gesture of that commitment, World Environment Day is celebrated across project sites.

Tree plantation drive, cleanliness of road side eateries/ establishments, waste reduction training, construction site hygiene training, waste segregation training, and drain & carriageway cleaning activities done at various locations at project site.
