Entered in the Road Sector
As opportunities in the road sector increased in Madhya Pradesh, Dilip Builders entered the sector by working on 5 - 6 road projects in MP valued between INR 2 - 3 cr each. The company's revenue at the time was INR 1 cr. A flagship project at the time was the Narsingarh - Boda 2 - lane 45 km highway commissioned by PWD MP and valued at INR 3.16 cr.

With an ambition to become a leading player in the EPC sector, Dilip Buildcon was incorporated as a private limited company. They started building an equipment bank to ensure quality and on-time execution. The first equipment Dilip Buildcon purchased was the Metso crusher. With increasing capacity, the company also undertook larger projects. The Ashta - Kannod 127km 2 - lane highway was valued at INR 719 mn., a significant jump for Dilip Buildcon.

Dilip Buildcon Acquired Dilip Builders
Dilip Buildcon acquired Dilip Builders along with all assets and liabilities on 1st April 2007. The company's typical project size also increased to INR 1150 mn with Ratlam - Jawra. Dilip Buildcon completed the project 8 months before the scheduled time and received an INR 50 mn bonus.

DBL Forayed Outside Its Home State
Dilip Buildcon forayed outside its home state of Madhya Pradesh (MP) for the first time with road projects in Himachal Pradesh (HP). In HP, Dilip Buildcon constructed 2 roads; Ranital - Kotla Package - 07 and Bhawarna - Lambagaon Package - 10 valued at INR 1391.7 mn. The projects received an award for early completion from the World Bank.

Won the Largest Epc Project
Dilip Buildcon won the its largest EPC project to date; 4-laning Ahmedabad - Godhra NH - 59 bridge project in Gujarat with a project value of INR 10,189.9 mn. The project was 4X the typical value of projects the company had undertaken before that. For the first time, Dilip Builders entered a non-Hindi speaking state and had to undertake creative measures to adapt such as conducting Gujarati classes for on-site staff.Dilip Buildcon Private Limited Company converted to Public Limited Company on 26th August 2010.

Raised Its First External Capital
Dilip Buildcon raised its first external capital through a PE investor, BanyanTree Growth Capital. The fund invested INR 750 mn into the company. With fresh capital, revenue increased ~3X; from INR 4840 mn in 2011 to INR 11840 mn in 2012. The order book also crossed INR 25,000 mn.
2013
Started Making the Shift
Strategically, Dilip Buildcon started making the shift to become a full-service infrastructure player. The first sector Dilip Buildcon entered was Urban Development with the Mardanpur Water Supply project. Awarded by the Jal Vikas Nigam MP, the project is valued at INR 2300 mn and was completed in June 2016.
Our Journey
First Irrigation Project
The Central and State Governments' vision for river linking and irrigation gave Dilip Buildcon the impetus to enter the Irrigation sector. The first project in the sector is the Mohanpura Major Multipurpose project. Planned across Newaj River in Rajgarh District of MP and intercepting 3825 km2 of basin area, the dam will provide 352.834 mn cubic meter water for irrigation, 20 mn cubic meter water for drinking and 60 mn cubic meter water for industrial use. Dilip Buildcon expanded its presence in the sector with the Bahuti Canal project in MP.
2015
Entered in Mining Sector
Continuing with its strategy to become a full-service infrastructure player, Dilip Buildcon entered Mining sector with an INR 1,045 mn contract for Nigahi OCP of NCL in Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh. The strategic move was made based on India's increasing power requirement and the Government of India's stated goal of increasing output and reducing coal import.
2016
IPO is 22 Times Oversubscribed
DBL goes public with the promise of increasing shareholder value. The IPO is 22 times oversubscribed and is greeted at Dalal Street with a celebration. Marquee investors included HDFC Mutual Fund, Eastbridge, Neuberger Berman, IDFC Mutual Fund, Blackrock, Capital Group, Nomura, Grandeur Peak Global Advisors, Smallcap World Fund, and Abu Dhabi Investment Authority.

The emails ask the recipient to appear for a face-to-face interview for a job opening with DBL and to deposit a certain amount as a refundable interview security in a designated bank account. The emails are falsely stated to be from officials of the HR Department of DBL.
DBL has not sent out any such emails. Please note that DBL, as a policy, does not collect any money as a pre-employment requirement. DBL and its affiliate companies bear no responsibility for amounts being deposited / withdrawn therefrom in response to such emails:
